There is an Enlightenment Mailing-List AND an official Enlightenment IRC channel at the moment (#E on efnet). The Mailing-List can get a LOT of traffic on it, so be warned. Note: You NEED to be a member of the mailing list to mail to it, otherwise your mails will not get through (this is to stop spamming).

This is the OFFICIAL mailing list. It's there for discussion of Enlightenment and any related issues. JOIN THE LIST if you want to keep up-to-date and see what ideas are being bandied about. It can get very busy. For those who just want to discuss stuff, or get some quick help, or tips and updates by word-of-mouth fire up your IRC client and join #E on efnet.

This is the official Enlightenment channel. I will pop by when I have time, but PLEASE don't ask me "Please help.. I can't install this" or something. I get enough of that as is. I have a program to write I generally keep people more up-to-date there by throwing about what I'm doing, and giving tips to those who are delving deep into Enlightenment (creating themes), and finding out about bugs that I DON'T know about (ie. bugreports from people who KNOW what bugs I know about...).

Just remember.. netiquette rules apply in that channel. Flooders will be kicked and banned, Don't annoy people. Don't annoy ANYONE.. even if they don't have Ops. Someone with Ops will kick you off and possibly ban you if you do that. Don't ask for Ops.. thats asking to be kicked and banned. Just remember: treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
