Here are some of my favorite off-site links pertaining to Fibromyalgia, other auto-immune diseases, and disability issues in general.  I always have more to add, and if you happen to have a page, I'd love to see it and possibly add it, so please feel free to e-mail me.
  • American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association - A good site for general autoimmune information along with specific information on many of the autoimmune diseases.
  • Great Tips To Help Cope - A nice page with some helpful hints for those of us who don't have bodies that are in top running condition.
  • Fatigue Management - Targeted towards arthritis, yet I have found that since it discusses the pain/fatigue problem, it can also be of use for us with fibromyalgia and other autoimmune diseases with this same problem.
  • National Psoriasis Foundation - So far, this is the only site I keep going back to for good information on yet another nasty autoimmune disease I have.
  • Stretching and Flexiblity - This site is difficult for me to read when my concentration is poor, but I do like to read it when I can to understand more about how all this stuff works.  Especially since stretching is the only exercise I do on a very consistant basis, and it always makes me feel at least a little better.  Lots of information here.
  • Computer Related Repetative Strain Injury - Good information on how to take care while using the computer.  The one thing I totally disagree with is how the author recommends not playing computer and video games, since I'm an avid gamer and enjoy programming games too.  Sometimes a good computer/video game is the only thing that will take my mind off of how lousey I feel.
  • Typing Injury FAQ - More good information on RSI and CTS.
  • Social Security Administration - For those of us unfortunate enough to have to deal with them.

I'm hoping to start adding some fun links in here too, including a neat place to play backammon with someone else online...hint,hint, hint...I'm always on the lookout for someone to play with :)
